Third Brackey's game jam!

Oh boy! What a jam.

I started very optimistig with a good game idea: You run a corrupt government-funded corporation which takes money to launch deep sea explorations. You can chose how to invest the money and how to drive up costs by doing useless and dangerous expeditions to secure your budget for the next year. I wanted to do a 3d game for a change and explore some more realistic graphics and effects. But, I had other commitments and could not start actual work before Thursday.

I had built a scrappy prototype but got so frustrated with the water renderer, that I decided to scrap it. I remembered an earlier jam game that I really liked (and which was the best one I've ever done so far) and thought about using similar mechanics of that game but testing new features and mechanics in this new jam. Free market research and player feedback on novel features :)

So, in the few hours I had left, I created a pitch-black, futuristic enviroment and added everyone's favorite effect: GLOW.  I had great plans of adjusting the darkness and the glow depending on how far you went into the level, but due to lack of time I could not yet implement it.

Overall, the game isn't really matching my own expectations, but I like the glow and the idea around using light sources as a mechanic to drive and influence the difficulty. Depending on how good or bad the community reacts, I migth use that feature in my main game I am currently developing "Meeting Joe". Worst case, I added some nice GLOW to the word :)

Thanks again Brackey for all your past contributions. Fun fact, this is actually my THIRD Brackey's game jam!
